OUR STORY 

United World Coaches (UWC) was founded in 2018 by a small group of coaches united by a powerful belief: supporting those who serve the world is essential to strengthening the world itself.

Our core purpose is to make high-quality coaching accessible to humanitarian professionals globally. These individuals dedicate so much of themselves to their critical work, yet often lack the necessary support for sustained impact and career growth.

Humanitarian roles are complex, demanding high levels of adaptability, resilience, and thoughtful leadership. UWC stands beside these professionals, offering volunteer coaches who partner with them to navigate career challenges, enhance leadership skills, build resilience, and reconnect with their personal purpose. This support ensures they can continue their vital work with energy and confidence.

We started with 11 committed coaches and have since grown into a global community of over 160 members. Each volunteer coach is driven not only by a desire to give back but also to learn from peers and deepen their practice within this unique field. We actively nurture this community, fostering shared knowledge and advancing the vision of a recognized, professional pathway for humanitarian-focused coaching.

OUR MODEL

United World Coaches is a Swiss-based, non-profit association established under Article 60 of the Swiss Civil Code. Our mission is to provide coaching services to humanitarian organizations globally.

Our entire staff, including the founding partners, operates on a 100% pro bono, volunteer basis, maintaining their own professional commitments and coaching practices.

This unique, pro bono model makes United World Coaches a highly attractive and distinctive option for organizations seeking essential support for their staff without incurring any fees.
